How old is he?
Is he 10 months, 4 weeks or is he 2? Sometimes I don't know. Callum has begun to throwing fits bordering on tantrums when he doesn't get something he wants. Now it's not like we go to the store and can't leave without the latest Sesame Street DVD or comparable, but when he sees the TV remote, watch out! He cried for 5 minutes yesterday because we wouldn't let him have it. The child was trying to fit himself under the coffee table-impossible feat with the size of his melon- just to get the remote. We've made the mistake of letting him play with it before and now we are suffering the repercussion. He's also so active that he bumped his head at least 4 times this weekend-- hard enough that I was worried and he was crying. He goes, goes, goes and then forgets his balance and falls. He's not walking but will be soon. It is keeping us on our toes. Callum's also still in his baby bathtub but we're going to have to transition into the real tub because he's starting to look like the old man in the bucket in the backyard. Callum's legs practically stick out! He's also trying to pull the foam padding off the bottom so if we ever decided to have another child, he/she would be without padding! Okay, okay- we really need to just buy a faucet protector and just transition him. The baby bath along with the Jumperoo, Excersaucer, and Bouncy Seat are all ready to be moved into storage. Our attic is going to start looking like the baby item graveyard- the place where baby items go that aren't being used anymore. This makes me sad but at the same time, Callum is more and more fun each day. His laugh is contagious, he understands a lot of what I say and he's eating real foods (much cheaper!). His refusal of baby food is hilarious. I used to think- how can a child just flat out refuse to eat? Well he does it and I always resort to a different food, method, etc. Callum also learned yesterday how to drink from a sippy cup. Yes, this has taken awhile--it's hard (ever done it that you remember?). Callum finally figured out that juice comes out if he tries hard enough and boy was that juice yummy.

Just so you know, Gerber makes a sippy cup that is slanted so the baby doesn't have to do all the work...the cup is designed to help get the right angle. It's the only cup Eli could use. Still uses it. Comes in green and blue with two handles and like sky scenes on the cup. Works for us!
He sure is cute!.We are excited about your visit.
